On a greater scale, the foundation hopes to eventually provide diabetic camp sponsorships, pumps, pens and new technology that might not be supplied or covered by insurance.The initial goals for ABCD are to provide, through donations, typical supplies for daily life to struggling families who have children with type 1 diabetes. The foundation plans to provide essentials such as testing equipment, test strips, educational materials and more.
The board of directors is currently developing the policy and procedure for disbursement of supplies and funds to families with diabetic children.
